According to the UK government’s roadmap to lift lockdown
restrictions in England, venues such as libraries will open in step three of the plan.
This step, according to the government, will be “no earlier than 4 July”.
Following advice from LCC we are preparing to open on the 7th July 2020.
We will open with limited days and times.
At the present we will endeavour to open on the following:-
Thursday 2:30- 4.00
There will be a oneway system in force in the library and we will partition between the children’s section and the general library.
Only 5 people will be allowed to enter Library at any time and you must wear protective gloves, (gloves will be provided if you do not have your own) face masks are optional.
We will restrict the children’s area to one family at a time.
All public PC's will be closed as will the toilet.
If only returning books please deposit in the drop box to the left of the front door.
Any books that have been ordered will not be available until deliveries from other Libraries have recommenced
We apologise for the changes but I am sure you will appreciate that we need to consider the safety of both our volunteers and customers
