Support the Library
Like all community projects, the Stoney Stanton Community Library relies heavily on the support of volunteers and the community as a whole in order for it to remain open. There are lots of ways in which you can help us keep this valuable resource open in the village.
Become a Volunteer
The library will not open without the support of volunteers who are happy to help in the library. There will be various roles people can undertake, for example, running specific sessions (e.g. Toddler Tales, Internet Taster Sessions, Code Club etc.), as well as working as a volunteer librarian. If you can help, collect a registration form from the library and leave with one of our volunteers or complete this form
Buy a Lottery Ticket
We have launched our lottery page. Buy your tickets on our page and we get 50% towards helping us keep the Library open.
Tickets cost £1 perweek.

Book and DVD Sales
You'll find an exciting new section in the Library where you can now browse and buy a wide range of hardbacks and paperbacks donated by villagers. If you have any unwanted books and DVDs at home, bring them along - it's all in a good cause.
Join the Library
If you don't have time to volunteer why not become a Library User and make use of the facilities the community library has to offer? The more that people use the facility, the more valuable the library will become.
Be a Friend of Stoney Stanton Library
Friends of Stoney Stanton Library will assist fundraising activities to support the ongoing maintenance and running expenses of the Stoney Stanton Library. This could involve sharing information about library activities or even getting involved as a volunteer too. The work of this group will be vital in keeping the library open.
We’re always looking for all sorts of skills, as we have a building to maintain, and a charity to run, as well as the library to staff.
